The line, plainly.
Cadence Passive is the flagship of the line, the only Cadence product line with a Passive House Institute component certificate. A 130 mm engineered-timber frame with high-density EPS insulation is clad in an aluminium-and-PVC exterior shell, reaching installed Uw 0.79 W/m²·K in a passive-house-grade wall assembly.
Tilt & turn, fixed, and side-hinged door configurations are certified to CSA Class CW-PG50 and PG60. The timber core uses FSC-certified pine or oak finger-jointed profiles, finished with German Remmers water-based lacquer. Triple Low-E glazing with warm-edge spacers delivers U-factors from 0.77 W/m²·K on the side-hinged door.
Every Passive frame ships with German Roto multi-point hardware, EPDM seals, and Akzo Nobel powder coatings on the exterior shell, supplied, installed, and warrantied by Cadence across Canada.
